Privacy policy

This Privacy and Cookie Notice explains how FemmePrive.me (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit the Site, create an account, participate in the forum, contact us, or make a donation. The person or entity operating FemmePrive.me determines the purposes and means of this processing and acts as its controller. The operator’s legal identity, jurisdiction, and postal contact still require owner confirmation and will be added to this notice when confirmed. In the meantime, privacy requests may be submitted through our contact form; registered users may also send a private conversation to the admin account.

Scope and age requirement

This notice applies to the forum and its related account, moderation, security, email, donation, and support functions. The Site is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit accounts belonging to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: username, email address, password hash, date of birth or age confirmation, profile fields, avatar, preferences, privacy settings, authentication and recovery information, and account status.
  • Forum content and interactions: posts, threads, private conversations, attachments, reactions, follows, reports, poll participation, moderation history, edits, and other material you choose to submit.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, timestamps, requested pages, referring page, browser and device information, cookies, session identifiers, login and authentication events, error records, spam signals, and administrator or moderator actions.
  • Communications: messages sent through the contact form, support correspondence, email-delivery events, and notification choices.
  • Donation information: information returned by PayPal may include a transaction reference, amount, currency, status, payer identifier, and payer contact details. Payment credentials are entered through PayPal, but the exact fields returned to the current forum integration are still being documented.

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from other members when they interact with or report content, and from security and service providers described below.

Why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, administer, and recover accounts;
  • provide forum features, display content, process polls and reactions, and deliver requested notifications;
  • enforce our terms and rules, review reports, moderate content, prevent fraud and spam, investigate abuse, and protect members and the Site;
  • operate, troubleshoot, back up, restore, measure, and improve the Site;
  • respond to requests, complaints, legal process, and privacy-rights submissions;
  • process and reconcile voluntary donations; and
  • send service messages and, where you have chosen them, newsletters or other optional communications.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you and steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Site and its community, your consent for optional activities where requested, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Public content and sensitive information

Your username, avatar, profile information you make visible, posts, reactions, poll results, and other forum activity may be visible to members or the public according to the Site’s permissions and your settings. Search engines and third parties may copy public material. Do not post information that you do not want others to see or retain. The Site has privileged administrator tools capable of accessing private conversations. Administrators may use that access for moderation, abuse, security, legal, support, or technical purposes; the authorization, reason-recording, and retention controls for that access are under review.

Because discussions may concern personal or adult topics, information you voluntarily reveal can be sensitive. Please minimize what you share and use the available profile and privacy controls.

Service providers and other recipients

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this notice, at your direction, or when required by law. Current categories of recipients include:

  • Hostinger: website and database hosting, storage, network services, and mailbox/SMTP email delivery. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare: DNS, content delivery, TLS, caching, traffic filtering, denial-of-service protection, security controls, and, when injected into a response, web analytics. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • hCaptcha: bot and abuse detection on forms. hCaptcha may collect device, browser, interaction, and network information under its own terms. See hCaptcha’s privacy policy.
  • StopForumSpam and DNS-based blocklist providers: registration and abuse screening using identifiers such as IP address, email address, and username where configured. See StopForumSpam’s privacy policy.
  • Google Translate: optional translation functionality. When translation resources are loaded or used, Google may receive network and browser information and the content submitted for translation under Google’s terms. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • PayPal: voluntary donation processing. PayPal processes payment and identity information under its own privacy terms and returns transaction information to the Site; the current integration’s exact returned fields and retention are still being documented. See PayPal’s privacy statement.
  • XenForo and locally installed add-on technologies: software used to operate the Site. A software vendor may receive limited license, domain, diagnostic, or support information when an update or support service is used.
  • External content providers: visiting a third-party link or loading an externally hosted image, media item, emoji, script, or embed can disclose your IP address, browser information, timing, and referring page to that provider. Observed examples include JoyPixels resources delivered through jsDelivr and the media providers listed on the Cookie usage page.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, and successors: where reasonably necessary for legal advice, legal process, safety, fraud prevention, enforcement, or a reorganization or transfer of the Site, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not disclose private account information to other members except through features you use, permissions you select, or as otherwise described here.

International processing

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Depending on the provider, destination, and applicable law, an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, another permitted transfer mechanism, or a legal exception may apply. You may contact us to request the information we have about safeguards relevant to your information.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including community continuity, security, dispute resolution, enforcement, recovery, and legal obligations. Current operational periods include:

  • Accounts and profiles: while the account is active and afterward as needed to complete a deletion or anonymization request, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law. The exact deletion/anonymization workflow and residual identifiers are under review.
  • Public forum content and poll records: generally for the life of the forum record unless removed under our rules or a valid request. Content may be retained with attribution removed or changed where permitted. Published historical poll totals may remain even when the underlying voter records are no longer complete; poll visibility and staff access depend on the poll configuration.
  • Private conversations: retention depends on participant actions and administrative moderation, security, legal, support, and recovery needs; a fixed pruning period has not been verified.
  • XenForo IP usage data: configured for deletion after 365 days. Hosting, Cloudflare, mailbox, and other security logs can follow different provider-controlled or operational periods that are still being inventoried.
  • Message edit history: up to 60 days under the current forum configuration.
  • Recent username-change display: 30 days; authorized staff and the account holder may have access to a longer history for security and accountability.
  • Cookie-consent records: up to 92 days under the current forum configuration. A record can contain the user ID (when available), IP address, time, and selected consent groups.
  • Moderator records: the current moderator-log pruning value is indefinite. Separate administrator, login-as-user, anti-abuse, ban, rejected-user, server-error, mail, and security records do not yet have one verified common retention period.
  • Donation and transaction records: retained for reconciliation, accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention needs; an exact jurisdiction-specific period is still being established.
  • Backups: administrative or hosting copies may retain information after it is removed from the live Site. A fixed schedule, retention period, access list, deletion behavior, and restore procedure have not yet been verified. Those controls are being documented and tested; this notice will be updated with confirmed periods.

These periods may be shortened or extended when needed to investigate abuse, preserve evidence, establish or defend legal claims, comply with a legal hold, or meet applicable law. We will update this notice if the configured periods materially change.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and local-storage items help us keep you signed in, protect forms and sessions, remember preferences, record consent choices, provide requested features, measure service performance, and prevent abuse. The Site may use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies for sessions, authentication, security, load handling, and consent choices;
  • Preference and functional cookies for settings, display choices, notices, and optional features; and
  • Analytics or other optional technologies used to understand traffic or provide third-party functions where configured.

The Cookie usage page contains XenForo’s generated inventory of its registered cookies, local-storage items, consent groups, and third-party providers. It may not list every network resource or technology loaded by Cloudflare, Google Translate, jsDelivr/JoyPixels, advertising, or user-embedded media. The forum’s consent panel controls only technologies integrated with XenForo’s consent system. At the date of this notice, the Google Translate script may load without an optional-cookie choice and Cloudflare may inject an analytics beacon outside that consent system; enabling XenForo’s advanced panel does not by itself block those requests. You can restrict cookies and third-party resources using your browser or content controls, although blocking necessary items may prevent login, registration, security checks, or other features from working. We are reviewing and correcting pre-consent third-party loading.

Email choices

Account-security, registration, password-reset, moderation, and other service messages may be necessary to operate your account. You can manage most optional forum alerts and email preferences in your account settings. The current SMTP delivery configuration is being repaired and tested; do not rely on email alone for a time-sensitive privacy or security request.

Security

We use measures intended to reduce risk, including account permissions, encrypted public web sessions, anti-abuse checks, and activity logging. A current security review has identified important work still in progress, including core software patches, stronger origin restrictions, removal of legacy TLS, administrator multi-factor authentication, secure file-transfer practices, and verified backup restoration. No online system is completely secure. Use a unique password, enable available multi-factor authentication, protect your email account, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to appeal or complain about how a request is handled. You may also update many profile, privacy, alert, and email settings directly in your account.

Submit a request through the contact form and identify the account and right involved. Because delivery of contact-form email is still being tested, registered users should also send a private conversation to the admin account if no acknowledgment is received. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Rights can be limited by other people’s rights and by lawful needs such as security, moderation, record integrity, legal claims, and legal obligations. If applicable, you may complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work or where you believe a violation occurred.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the Site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. We will provide an appropriate notice and, when required, request renewed agreement for a material change.

For privacy questions, rights requests, or concerns about information on the Site, use the FemmePrive.me contact form. Registered users may also send a private conversation to the admin account. Include enough detail for us to understand and verify the request, but do not submit passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. The controller’s confirmed legal identity, jurisdiction, postal details, and a monitored dedicated privacy address remain to be added.
